Thyroid Cancers are one of the best in terms of outcomes if treated well. Thyroid surgery with meticulous preservation of the Parathyroid glands & recurrent laryngeal nerve, needs to be mastered to help your patients .It is essential to keep abreast with latest developments and existing guidelines in this field.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It gives us immense pleasure to be able to host the 6th National Conference of the Indian Society of Thyroid Surgeons (ISTS), from JUNE 7th - 9th, in the City of Joy - Kolkata.
The conference aims to bring together leaders in the field of thyroid disorders eminent national and international experts from the fields of Head Neck Surgery, Otorhinolaryn gology, Surgical Oncology, General Surgery, Nuclear Medicine, Endocrinology, Pathology and Radiology -to discuss and deliberate over numerous pertinent issues related to thyroid and parathyroid disorders. We hope to provide you with an academic feast, with emphasis on the importance of a Multidisciplinary Approach to Thyroid Disorders which is the underlying scientific theme of our conference.
The scientific team has worked hard to bring together a programme that will benefit not only young trainees and junior consultants , but will be attractive to senior colleagues as well. We also have a few pre-conference workshops and instructional courses planned, details of which will be provided in the coming few weeks , highlighting surgical techniques , cyto/histopathology and Intra-operative Nerve Monitoring. In addition, we hope to extend our warm hospitality to you all with invigorating cultural programs, bearing the musical flavours of Bengal.
